This page governs ownership of Honey Tree website materials and the limited uses permitted by Honey Tree. Honey Tree Stables takes content ownership, brand protection, photography rights, and misuse of farm images or materials seriously.
1. Ownership and reservation of rights
Unless otherwise noted, all content on the Honey Tree website is owned by or licensed to Honey Tree Stables, LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, trade-dress, database, contract, privacy, publicity, and other applicable law. This includes site text, biographies, service descriptions, historical content, horse descriptions, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, icons, page design, layout, downloadable materials, compilations, and metadata. The Honey Tree Stables name, logo, and the phrase “Developed on the farm. Proven in the ring.” are part of Honey Tree’s protected brand assets.
2. Limited license
Honey Tree grants you a narrow, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the website for your own personal, non-commercial, informational use. No ownership interest, implied license, or other right is transferred to you beyond that limited right of access and viewing.
3. Uses that require prior written permission
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, post, transmit, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, adapt, translate, modify, sell, license, archive, mirror, frame, hotlink, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit site content without Honey Tree’s prior written permission, except to the extent a use is clearly allowed by applicable law without permission.
4. Specific prohibited uses
Without prior written permission from Honey Tree, you may not use Honey Tree content or brand assets for commercial or promotional purposes; use Honey Tree photographs or video of horses, riders, staff, guests, minors, or property; remove or alter copyright notices, watermarks, or credit lines; register confusingly similar names, usernames, or domains; scrape, crawl, harvest, or systematically extract data or media from the site; or use site content to train, fine-tune, benchmark, ground, retrieve for, or otherwise develop any artificial-intelligence, machine-learning, computer-vision, or generative system or dataset. This restriction applies whether access is manual, automated, by bot, crawler, spider, script, extension, application programming interface, or any similar method.
5. Third-party rights
Some Honey Tree materials may include or reference content owned by photographers, videographers, sponsors, authors, vendors, governing bodies, event managers, or other third parties. In those cases, additional permissions may be required from the original rights holder, and Honey Tree does not grant rights Honey Tree does not own.
6. Brand and likeness protections
Do not use the Honey Tree name, logo, design look, marks, or site appearance in a way that suggests affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or approval without permission. Do not reuse Honey Tree imagery or identifiable depictions of riders, children, guests, horses, barns, rings, or other property for commercial, advertising, media, fundraising, or competitive purposes without written authorization.
7. Permission requests
Requests to quote, reproduce, license, or otherwise use Honey Tree materials should be sent to Honey Tree Stables, LLC at honeytreestables@gmail.com. Any permission granted by Honey Tree should be in writing and may be limited by scope, duration, attribution, territory, medium, or other conditions.
8. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on the Honey Tree website infringes your copyright, send Honey Tree a written notice that identifies the copyrighted work, identifies the challenged material and its location, provides your contact information, explains the basis of your claim, states that you have a good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, states that the information in your notice is accurate, and includes your signature or the signature of an authorized representative. Honey Tree may review and respond to the notice in an appropriate manner.
9. Enforcement and reservation of remedies
Unauthorized use of Honey Tree content may violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contract, computer-access, or other laws. Honey Tree reserves all rights and remedies available at law or in equity, including the right to revoke any permission previously granted.
10. No waiver of lawful exceptions
Nothing on this page is intended to limit any right that cannot lawfully be limited, including any applicable fair-use or other statutory exception. Otherwise, all rights not expressly granted are reserved by Honey Tree.
