Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

Honey Tree Stables, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company (“Honey Tree,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of owners, riders, families, boarders, prospective clients, and other visitors who interact with the Honey Tree website. This Privacy Policy explains how Honey Tree collects, uses, stores, and shares information collected through www.honeytreestables.com and any Honey Tree-controlled online page that links to this policy. This policy applies to website and inquiry-form data. It does not replace the separate waivers, boarding agreements, medical forms, emergency contacts, or other operational paperwork Honey Tree may require for participation, boarding, training, showing, breeding, or farm access.

1. Information Honey Tree collects

Honey Tree may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, phone number, city and state, rider information, horse information, service interests, and the content of any inquiry, form submission, or message you send. Honey Tree may also keep records of communications such as emails, calls, texts, social-media messages, scheduling messages, and customer-service follow-up. In addition, the website may automatically receive technical and usage data such as internet protocol address, browser type, device type, referring pages, pages viewed, dates and times of visits, approximate geographic information, and similar analytics or log data.

2. How Honey Tree uses information

Honey Tree uses website information to respond to inquiries, schedule calls or visits, evaluate fit for lessons, boarding, training, sales, leases, breeding, or other services, manage waitlists, operate and improve the website, maintain security, protect horses, people, and property, communicate with visitors about requested services, and comply with legal, safety, recordkeeping, and operational obligations. Honey Tree may also use limited analytics and site-performance information to understand traffic, improve page performance, and refine website content.

3. How Honey Tree may share information

Honey Tree may share information with service providers who help host, secure, maintain, analyze, or support the website and Honey Tree’s communications workflow, including vendors that provide website infrastructure, form handling, analytics, email, mapping, or similar operational support. Honey Tree may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect Honey Tree, its horses, its clients, its guests, or its property; to respond to lawful requests; to enforce Honey Tree policies or agreements; or in connection with a business reorganization, sale, or asset transfer. Honey Tree does not publish private horse-management or client information for marketing purposes unless Honey Tree has appropriate permission or another lawful basis to do so.

4. Cookies, analytics, and embedded content

Honey Tree may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, log files, or similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand traffic, and measure performance. Some site features may also involve third-party content such as maps, video, forms, or social-media embeds, and those providers may collect information subject to their own privacy practices. Honey Tree should publish a separate Cookie Notice or cookie-preference tool if the final website uses non-essential cookies or analytics tools that require additional consent or controls.

5. Marketing communications

Honey Tree may send transactional or relationship messages when you inquire about services, request information, schedule a visit, join a waitlist, or otherwise communicate with Honey Tree. If Honey Tree offers optional marketing emails, you may unsubscribe through the unsubscribe mechanism included in the message or by contacting Honey Tree directly. If Honey Tree activates a Short Message Service text workflow and you opt in, Honey Tree should honor standard opt-out methods such as replying STOP, together with any platform-specific consent rules then in effect.

6. Sensitive information

Please do not send payment-card information, Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, full medical records, or other highly sensitive information through public website forms or general email channels unless Honey Tree specifically asks for it through an appropriate process. If emergency or health information is needed for participation, Honey Tree may request it through a separate intake or operational channel.

7. Children’s privacy

Honey Tree’s website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If a rider or participant is under 18, Honey Tree expects a parent or legal guardian to make or review the submission. If Honey Tree learns that it collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without appropriate parental involvement or another lawful basis, Honey Tree will take reasonable steps to delete or limit the information as appropriate.

8. Data security and retention

Honey Tree uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect website information, but no method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure. Honey Tree retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including inquiry follow-up, safety, fraud prevention, recordkeeping, legal compliance, and legitimate business operations.

9. Your choices and requests

You may contact Honey Tree to update contact information, correct information you previously submitted, ask to stop non-essential marketing communications, or request access, deletion, or other handling of your information consistent with applicable law, Honey Tree’s legitimate operational needs, and Honey Tree’s legal recordkeeping obligations. Your browser or device settings may also allow you to manage cookies or similar technologies.

10. Third-party links

The Honey Tree website may link to third-party websites, social-media pages, show organizations, or other outside resources. Honey Tree is not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of third-party sites that Honey Tree does not own or control.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
